FAQs
Yes, indeed! Our IPL devices are carefully designed for safe and effective hair removal across all body areas, including delicate zones like the bikini line and face. However, for your safety, please avoid using the device too close to your eyes.
For optimal results, we suggest using the
Thevelax IPL device 4-5 times per week for the first two weeks. To keep your skin smooth and hair-free, continue with sessions 2-3 times per week for the next two weeks to two months.
Results can vary from person to person, but you may start to notice improvements within the first two weeks. Typically, more significant results become visible after four to twelve weekly treatments.
After your IPL treatment, taking care of your skin is essential for a swift and comfortable recovery. We advise avoiding direct sunlight immediately post-treatment. If you must be outdoors, please apply sunscreen with at least SPF 15. Also, steer clear of hot showers, saunas, and abrasive skincare products. Instead, opt for gentle cleansing and moisturizing to soothe and protect your skin.
To minimize skin irritation or damage, we recommend avoiding sunbathing both before and after your IPL sessions. Sun exposure can sensitize your skin, increasing the risk of adverse reactions. If you need to be in the sun, please ensure to apply high-SPF sunscreen to the treated areas for protection.
For your safety and to ensure the effectiveness of your IPL treatment, please avoid using the device on the following areas:
- Eyes and Surrounding Regions: Keep the device away from the eyes to prevent any risk of injury.
- Moles and Skin Tags: Do not use on moles or skin tags, as the intense light can cause pigmentation changes.
- Tattooed or Painted Skin: Avoid treating tattooed or painted areas since the pigments can react to the light, potentially causing burns or discoloration.
- Damaged or Irritated Skin: Wait until any cuts, infections, or inflammatory conditions such as eczema or psoriasis have fully healed before using the device on these areas.
